About

The City Parks Department is responsible for managing 40 cemeteries in the Cape Town municipal area. Rusthof Cemetery is a peaceful area that honours the deceased and provides the community with a green space for remembrance. The Rusthof Cemetery spans 18.7 hectares.

Monday - Saturday
07:30 – 14:30

Monday to Friday (burials)
09:00 – 15:00

By special appointment on Sundays.
Cemeteries are able to operate on certain public holidays, please contact the facility to find out more.
